Terms and Conditions for all MBH Events & Workshops

By registering for and attending our event, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Registration and Attendance

1.1 Eligibility: This event is open to professionals, freelancers, and students based in the northwest of England and interested in networking and professional development.

1.2 Registration: All attendees must register through the official event registration link. Registrations are subject to availability and may be closed once capacity is reached.

1.3 Admission: Admission to the event is granted only to registered attendees & MBH members. Please bring a valid ID and your registration confirmation.

2. Code of Conduct

2.1 Respectful Behaviour: All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards others. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave the venue.

2.2 Professional Conduct: Please maintain a professional demeanour. Excessive solicitation or aggressive marketing is discouraged.

2.3 Compliance with Laws: Attendees must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the event.

3. Personal Belongings

3.1 Responsibility: Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. MBH and the venue are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

4. Photography and Media

4.1 Consent: By attending the event, you consent to being photographed and recorded. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes by MBH, the venue and workshop hosts.

4.2 Personal Use: Attendees are allowed to take photographs and videos for personal use. However, commercial use of such media without prior consent from MBH, the venue or workshop host is prohibited.

5. Liability

5.1 Personal Injury: MBH, the venue or workshop host are not liable for any personal injury or health issues that may arise during the event. Attendees are responsible for making any allergies known to the MBH team and the venue.

5.2 Property Damage: Attendees are liable for any damage they cause to the event venue or property.

6. Cancellation and Changes

6.1 Event Cancellation: MBH reserve the right to cancel the event at any time. In the event of cancellation, registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible.

6.2 Changes to the Event: MBH may make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue. Attendees will be informed of any significant changes.

7. Data Protection

7.1 Privacy: MBH, the venue or workshop host will collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By registering for the event, you consent to the use of your data for event and venue-related purposes.

7.2 Communication: Attendees agree to receive communications from MBH, the venue and workshop host regarding event updates and future events.

8. Confidentiality:

8.1 Business Workshops: All materials provided during workshops, including handouts, slides, and digital content, are the intellectual property of the Workshop Provider. Unauthorised distribution, reproduction, or commercial use of workshop materials is strictly prohibited.

9. Refunds

9.1 Ticket refunds: Please refer to the specific event terms and conditions from Eventbrite regarding refunds as these differ depending on the event.

10. Governing Law

10.1 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of The United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in The United Kingdom.

11. Agreement

By registering for and attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
