Working with local churches to help homeless people, primary schools and vulnerable people. Founded in 1837, Manchester City Mission is one of the oldest charities in Greater Manchester. Using the model set out by Philip in Acts 8:5-8, our work is based on three core activities: Incarnation – entering the world of the people we are trying to reach. Compassion – responding the unmet needs of those we encounter. Proclamation – sharing the eternal truth of the Gospel. Many churches find it difficult to make an impact on the needs that surround them. MCM’s projects provide the church with an opportunity to make a difference as they partner with us in prayer, financial support and volunteering. We work with the homeless, primary schools, the vulnerable.
