In 1877, Sale Baptist church was first created, with a community of people committing to meet weekly at a site on Ashton Lane in Sale. In the 1950’s the church caught a vision to expand and decided to invest in a new building. In 1963 they moved into the King’s Centre, built right between Sale and Altrincham on the corner of Raglan Road and Washway Road. LifeCentre Events Ltd. operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise. It’s mission statement is… to be the stand-out community hub and conference venue for South Manchester, by faithfully serving the vision of LifeChurch Manchester and providing all our guests, community groups and corporate clients with a consistently extravagant degree of hospitality and service.
